Reuse, Reduce, Support: Design Principles for Green Data Mining

Abstract This paper reports on a design science research (DSR) study that develops principles for “green” – more environmentally sustainable data mining processes. Grounded in the Cross Industry Standard Process Data Mining (CRISP-DM) and review of relevant literature methods, Green IT, IS, identifies eight fall into three categories reuse, reduce, support.
